Tina Knowles Files for Divorce
Beyonces mom, Tina Knowles, has filed for divorce from her husband of 29 years, Mathew Knowles. The divorce papers were filed with the Harris County Court Clerk on November 11, shortly after Mathew was named in a paternity suit filed by Alexsandra Wright. The Los Angeles woman claims that he is the father of her unborn child.

The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners, the couple said in a statement to the Associated Press on Friday.
