The Ohio police chiefs behind the ploy to sell pics of SJPee-Pee's surrogate mother's home apparently dug their own grave! Sources are claiming the shady pair of police who snapped 15 pics of the surrogate's shambolic home tried to sell the exclusive pics to the National Enquirer and demanded twice the $$$ the Enquirer offered them!

The tab supposedly offered police chiefs Barry Carpenter and Chad Dojack $15k for the pictures, but when Carpenter and Dojack wouldn't go any lower than $30,000, the Enquirer ratted them out!
Carpenter claims he was "just messing" with the National Enquirer, but the tabloid says they were not involved in the scandal in any way. [source:perezhilton.com]
