Thus far, The Proposal is doing rather well at the box office - bringing in $12 million more than analysts predicted.
It knocked The Hangover out of the number #1 spot last weekend and, despite what reviews are saying, it continues to do well in theaters.
A proud Mark Zoradi, president of Disneys motion-picture group, told The Associated Press, I think the market was ready for a really fun, broad romantic comedy.
