Note: These are brand new, un-opened machines. They include all original accessories and have Saeco's latest improvements... Ceramic flat burr grinder (significantly improves espresso shot over older models), improved metal steam manifold (improved durability) and improved brew group design. --- The Incanto Classic has been around for several years and in many different iterations. It's tried and true case design and functionality are so popular that it just doesn't seem to ever go out of style, even in the face of newer models released by Saeco. With its sturdy steel construction, easy interface and the patented Saeco Brewing System (SBS), it's a great little superautomatic with lots of love to give. Learn more about the Incanto Classic: Crew Review Pros & Cons How it Works Care Features & Accessories Tech Specs Crew Review Pros Steely, Man - The all steel casing is unique in a world of plastic superautomatics, so it definitely has a quality construction that may prove to be more reliable Ease of Use - One-touch espresso & Americanos via its programmable interface, plus Rapid Steam functionality means you can quickly switch between brewing and steaming Bi-Pass Doser - Need the flavor without all the hype? You can brew with decaf pre-ground coffee as well. Cons Water Tank Location - It's in the back of the machine, so can be a pain to access; it does have a swivel base, however, which makes it a bit easier Oil-Free - Like most superautomatics, the grinder is not dark roasted/oily bean friendly. If you want to use these beans, you'll have to set the grinder to a much coarser setting and be prepared to have the grinder professionally cleaned by a tech every 12 - 18 months or so Not Digital - Not as fancy of a display, although easy to use How it Works The Incanto has a programmable interface so you can set it to make the espresso you love. Once the machine is warmed up and ready to go, you can easily switch between brewing and steaming with the Rapid Steam functionality, and it only takes about 30 seconds between each drink before the Incanto is ready to go again. Find out more detail in the manufacturer's user manual. Care For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine: Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal. Spray down the brew group with hot water about once a week (no soap) Soap out water tank, dregs box and drip tray every few days Learn more tips on caring for the brew group (video) Features & Accessories The Incanto has simple functionality, but it excels in providing you with quite a bit of brewing customization -- so you'll be able to dial in your perfect, unique shot. Components & Functionality Stainless Steel Boiler: Durable, 1200 watt boiler heats up quickly and easily manages multiple drinks in repetition with minimal lag-time. Saeco Brewing System (SBS): By adjusting the amount of pressure used during extraction, you can tweak your shot considerably. If you turn the dial all the way to the right, you'll get a condensed ristretto style shot; all the way to the left and you'll get something closer to a long coffee. With selections in between, you can find the flavor that's right for you. Rapid Steam: This technology allows you to quickly switch between brewing and steaming. The steam wand has a panarello attachment for easy milk frothing, and it can accommodate up to 32 oz pitcher sizes. You can also get hot water for tea, cocoa, Americanos, etc., through the wand by selecting the water button before opening the steam valve. Easy Controls: Programming your water volume is simple, but you can also change up the dosage as well. Program your coffee to have up to 7 oz. of water included with the extraction. Press your programmed buttons once, it will brew once; rapidly press it twice and it will go through two complete brew cycles -- this is how you achieve a double shot on these machines. Bi-Pass Doser: Need decaf? Don't vacuum out those beans, just use the bi-pass! You can use 1 tablespoon per extraction (maximum -- using more will damage the machine) and, once it's complete with that cycle, it will revert to the bean hopper for the next drink. Pre-Infusion: Once the coffee is ground and tamped, it is thoroughly saturated with water prior to extraction, to give you maximum flavor. Ceramic Burr Grinder: Built-in grinder is constructed of flat ceramic burrs, which give you a more consistent particle size, resulting in a richer shot, without picking up any heat and singeing the coffee. Features several different settings for you to select your preferred coarseness. Note: With oily/dark roasted beans, you will need to set this to at least the mid-range to use the machine without issue. Too fine will clog the grinder and your espresso will not extract. 68 Ounce Water Tank: Built in tank is removable and also easy to fill without taking it off the machine by just pulling off the lid in the back and using a pitcher. Made with clear ABS plastic, so it's easy to keep an eye on the water level 15 BAR Pump: Pump will kick up to the 15 BAR level to get going, then settle down to the ideal 9 BAR extraction pressure. Indicator Lights: Status, maintenance, brew progress and errors are communicated via a system of lights and indicators. Swivel Base: Easily access the back & sides of the machine for cleaning and maintenance. Adjustable Nozzle: Dispenser can be adjusted for a maximum of 3.5" cup clearance. Bean Hopper: Integrated hopper is poised above the grinder and can hold up to 1/4 pound of beans. Tech Specs Color: Silver Power: 1200 watts, 120V Size: 11.5" W x 14.75" H x 15.75" D Weight: 20 pounds Body Material: Steel, with some plastic components Warranty: 1-year parts & labor warranty Origin: Italy
