RV Crash Kills Girlfriend, Brother (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
Pro golfer Ken Green of Danbury, CT, was involved in a horrific RV crash on Monday near Jackson, Mississippi. He is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with eye and leg injuries. His longtime girlfriend Jeannie Hodgin, 52, and his older brother William Green, 56, were both killed.

The PGA Champions Tour player reportedly lost control when the right front tire blew out on his large RV. The vehicle swerved off the road and went down an embankment and crashed into a large tree - see photos below. Greens two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. None of the vehicles occupants were wearing seat belts, according to the police report.
Ken Greens lawyer and longtime friend Jack Garamelia said that the pro golfer suffered a very serious leg injury, which required immediate surgery. Doctors indicate that they are fighting to save Greens leg from possible amputation. The golfer also suffered a severe eye injury.
Green was the fourth top money winner on the PGA Tour in 1988 and was a member of the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 1989. Green joined the Champions Tour in 2008 with his first outing at the British Open. He has had eleven starts, including a seventh-place finish in the AT&T Classic in March 2009. He earnings on the tour have been $123,906.
Green had been planning to make a qualifying bid next week for the senior PGA championship before spending a few weeks in Danbury during July.
