Paris Hilton apparently bought a pet mini pig recently. We know. This is as terrible an idea as you think it is. Rightfully assuming the poor little creature will be neglected and treated like crap, PETA has fired off a statement calling the ho tel heiress "wretched example" by treating animals like they're "as disposable as her friends and fiances."

PETA continues of Paris: "The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she's paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot bellied pigs aren't either."
We gotta agree with PETA for the first time ever here. Any dumbass who says she won't get swine flu because she doesn't eat pork clearly lacks the mental capacity to care for defenseless living creatures. Or to finish the 11th grade.
