Jon Gosselin sat down for a public dialogue with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach on Sunday. Gosselin said hes not a fame seeker, but blames his celebrity status for recent bad behavior. Half the stuff Ive done, if I look at my moral compass, I shouldnt have done, he said. I know that but I did it anyway. Its like fame canceled out conviction.

Gosselin said, I think Im just misunderstood. Im not a fame seeker. Everyday I look in the mirror and I wonder [why I'm famous]. I dont sing. I dont dance. Im not a Nobel Peace Prizewinner. I just had eight kids and I had a show on TLC.
The Jon & Kate Plus Eight reality star addressed his impending divorce from wife, Kate Gosselin. I want to apologize to Kate in private, he said. Ill apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. That was a huge mistake, because if she wouldve done that to me, I would have been extremely pissed off.
