Jessica Simpson, known for her body issues, braved it on Friday by putting on a black swimsuit to help her little sister Ashlee Simpson Wentz celebrate her 25th birthday at MGM Grand hot spot Wet Republic in Las Vegas.

We hesitate to call her undergarment a bikini because it looks more substantial than that with its high waist. The transparent coverup, a bit of a puzzler, was no doubt chosen to afford her further modest.at least that is our best guess.
