J.K. Rowling’s Sued for Plagiarism

Famous writer of Harry Potter is being sued along with her publishing company. The Plaintiff is the estate of late English Author Adrian Jacobs, and they claim that Harry Potter and some of the games, prison, and scenes are similar to his 1987 book, The Adventures of Willy the Wizard.

I am saddened that yet another claim has been made that I have taken material from another source to write Harry, Rowling said.
She also goes on to say that when you make this much money and have something this popular, people are bound to come out of the woodwork to get some of the action. She also says shes never heard of or read Willy the Wizard.

Rowling speaks and we all must believe? I thought that privilege belonged exclusively to the Pope. And even he uses it sparingly, ex cahthedra. We all lie when we have to, don’t we? Here is a woman who lies professionally for a living by writing fiction. On what grounds then should we believe a word she says?
The English press have presented her as some sort of saint. Schillings her ruthless legal firm has hoovered anybody who opposes her. How many newspapers and magazine editors have received a call from Schillings? Her literary reps veto every word that is written about her. Little her literary agent never comes out to say a word in her defence.
Unless you are brain dead there are serious questions to be asked here IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE THEM. And that is just the point. There is not a single newspaper editor with the balls to ask an intelligent simple question about Rowling or Little or the whole money-spinning business.
So, let’s hear what the Willy the Wizard team have to offer in London’s High Court. And if the Rowling Gestapo gang manage to stop them (and they work day and night in the blogosphere to do just that) there will have to be very serious questions asked about our democratic rights to freedom of speech and expression not to mention the God-given right to the produce of our own souls.
