Gosselin Divorce Final, Kate Gets House and Primary Custody
After ten years of marriage and a tumultuous 2009, Jon Gosselin and his wife Kate Gosselin have been granted a divorce by Judge Arthur Tilson. He ruled that Kate will get the house in Wernersville, Pennsylvania and primary custody of the couples 9 year old twins and 5 year old sextuplets.

Kates lawyer Mark Momjian said, I know she is very excited about restructuring her life and looking forward to the new year. The couple reportedly worked out their own custody arrangements but left it up to an arbiter to decide the financial issues. The marriage started to publicly implode amid allegations of infidelity in early 2009. Kate Gosselin filed for the no fault divorce in June.
It should be interesting to see if Jon will still be invited into the family home now that it is no longer his. He had been staying at the residence during his parental custody time but it seems likely that Kate will no longer feel obligated to vacate her home to facilitate he ex husbands visits to the children.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality show ended in November, after Jon Gosselins relationship with TLC turned sour. He abruptly pulled the children from the show after TLC announced that the new format would be Kate Plus 8. A new TLC show featuring just Kate is currently in development and is slated to debut this spring.
Jon Gosselin lost a court battle on December 10, when a Maryland judge ruled in favor of TLC, who claimed that the former reality show deadbeat had violated his network contract. The court ordered Jon to stop making media appearances.
It looks like Jon will have no choice but to get a real job, in order to pay child and spousal support. Something tells us that perspective employers wont we lining up any time soon.
