Earlier this week, we learned that Michael Jackson's "friend" and dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, is looking for unpaid funds from the Jackson estate for procedures he performed on the King of Pop before his death.

Now the shady dermatologist's lawyers are coming out to explain the $48,522.89 bill that was passed along to the Jackson's.

"In order to provide this treatment, Dr. Klein needed to rent a helicopter in order to be flown in from out of town to provide the services within the required time frame, had his professional staff transported via car service, and had to pay them a premium for working over the weekend. If anything, these charges demonstrate Dr. Klein's dedication to his patients. It should also be noted that Dr. Klein lost money for the weekend treatmentDr. Klein spent a substantial amount of effort to assist Michael Jackson in achieving his fabulous appearance. As anyone can see from viewing This Is It, Michael Jackson looked great, and this was due, in part, to Dr. Klein's skill, hard work and dedication."

We guess you could say Dr. Klein is dedicated, dedicated to fueling his client's drug habit!

How could IM injections (which is code for Demerol) or Restylane injections be so urgent that a helicopter was needed???

As if the bullshiz statement isn't enough, the doc wants to show he's a good guy. Dr. Klein will be donating a portion of the money he receives "to a charity which provides assistance to inner city children with HIV."

It doesn't matter how much money you donate, you're still a shady doctor![source:perezhilton.com]
