Ex con and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub has filed assault charges against another woman for pulling her weave! Staub's fake hair was yanked by 19 year old Ashley Holmes at the North Jersey Country Club last month, where the entire incident was caught by Bravo's cameras.

Danielle's lawyer, Darren Del Saro, says his client's head "hurt to a certain degree" and he's "sure she was in pain" from having her extensions pulled out.

Why does her lawyer sound strangely uncertain about the charges????

Regardless, Staub and Holmes were in court last Thursday, where a NJ judge told the hair puller she could either go to trial or enter a plea. [source:perezhilton.com]
