Angelina Jolie Wants To Adopt An Indian Child !!

The Changeling actress revealed her plans to one of the child stars of Slumdog Millionaire - which is set in the poorest areas of Mumbai - when she met him at last months Oscars. When asked by 10-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed if she would consider adopting a child from his home country of India, Angelina - who is in a long-term relationship with Brad Pitt - reportedly replied: Well, Ill let you into a little secret, we will soon.

Angelina was said to be very taken with Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, nine, when she met them at Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles - where Slumdog Millionaire picked up eight prizes.

Both children were recruited for the film from the deprived areas of Mumbai where they live.

Angelina, 33, and Brad already raise three adopted children together - Maddox, eight, from Cambodia, Pax, five, from Vietnam and Zahara, four, from Ethiopia.

Brad and Angelina have made no secret of her desire to have more children.

In January, Brad joked the couple were already overdue another child, saying: We average about two a year, so I guess were overdue, arent we?

In 2006, Angelina and Brad visited an orphanage in the Indian city of Pune and spent time meeting the children at the centre and giving them presents.

A senior staff member at the centre said at the time: Brad and Angelina were lovely and adore kids. Every move and every look of the couple was filled with love for our children and we were floored with their genuine affection.
